Ghanaian music star King Promise is bringing music and football together with “CAN’T TAME US,” a new Chelsea-inspired anthem connected to the Blues’ 2026/27 season.

For fans who have followed King Promise over the years, his connection with Chelsea is nothing new. The award-winning singer has proudly shown his love for the London club, with Ghanaian legend Michael Essien playing an important role in how that relationship began.

Now, that passion has moved from the stands and social media into the studio.

King Promise Chelsea Anthem: Music Meets Football🏟️

“CAN’T TAME US” represents another major crossover between African music and global football culture.

King Promise has built an international audience through his distinctive blend of Afrobeats, Afropop and R&B, and his association with Chelsea puts Ghanaian music in front of yet another huge global audience.

For Ghanaian Chelsea supporters in particular, the collaboration has extra meaning: one of Ghana’s biggest contemporary artists is celebrating a club with deep connections to Ghanaian football history.

Music Meets Football

Football and music have always shared something special: both can unite thousands of people with one sound, one emotion and one moment.

“CAN’T TAME US” brings those worlds together.

Whether you're representing Chelsea in London, Accra or anywhere else around the world, this is one for the Blues.
